Josh's real estate career was inspired by the need to sell his home during the recession in 2009. He and his family were affected by the recession like many Americans and after navigating the short sale of their home with the help of a REALTOR friend, he realized he too wanted to help buyers and sellers navigate the complicated process of home buying and selling. He now aims to give the same high quality experience he received to each and every client.
Josh also brings a unique perspective to the real estate profession with his varied background. He spent many years playing rock star in his band, he owned a landscape company, and he owned and operated a couple of independent coffee shops in San Diego called The Bean Box before starting his real estate career in 2011. A Moorhead native, he lived in California 16 years before moving back to the Fargo-Moorhead area in 2012 with his wife & children. He is an Associate Broker with NextHome Legendary Properites and is the Manager of the Fargo office. He is licensed in both North Dakota and Minnesota. He services Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead, & surrounding areas.
In 2018 Josh was awarded the highly acclaimed national Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI) designation. In 2021 he was nominated for REALTOR of the Year with the Fargo-Moorhead Association REALTORS A real estate transaction is likely to be biggest financial decision a person will ever make and they deserve to have a REALTOR they can trust. My goal is to simplify the home buying & selling process and to go above & beyond expectations for each and every client!-Josh Hanson
