Lisa is passionate about New Ulm which probably stems from her triple-great grandfather naming New Ulm! After 22 years as a mortgage lender at Frandsen Bank & Trust, Lisa decided to make a change in January, 2011, and joined the New Ulm Real Estate team as their marketing and closing coordinator. In October, 2011, she became a licensed real estate agent! Her excitement about real estate has allowed her to be one of the top three in real estate agent sales in New Ulm! Lisas specialty is helping clients with their real estate needs and connecting them with area lenders specializing in the different mortgage programs available. She loves working with people and believes every one has a story behind them and she loves to listen to that story!
Lisa has two amazing daughtersJenna is a third grade teacher at Rosa Parks, Mankato, and enjoys the spontaneity of that age! She is married to a great guy, Jay, and make their home in New Ulm! Brittany is a Registered Nurse at Keystone Assisted Living Facilitiesa job that Lisa has admitted shed never be able to do! Lisa is enraptured with her nine-year-old grandson, Carsten, who makes her smile daily with his funny antics! She was doubly blessed with twin grandbabies--Odin and Emma!! There is nothing better than being a Grandma!!
In her spare time, Lisa loves gardening, decorating and reading. She lives on her family farm which keeps her very busybut very happy! She is active on the boards of the Brown County Historical Society and Junior Pioneers of New Ulm and Vicinity. Past boards that she has served on are the United Way of the Brown County Area, Grand Center for Arts & Culture, Brown County Dakota Conflict Commemoration, Brown County Extension Committee, New Ulm Retail Development, and Junior Achievement. She was the 2011 recipient of the Athena award for business leadership and community involvement.
