Like so many others, my love of fishing drew me to Cook County. While I grew up in Esko, my first job in high school was at the End of the Trail Lodge on the Gunflint Trail in the summer of 1974. I knew I had to find a way back someday! After spending twelve years in the Navy as a Personnel Specialist, I came home to the Duluth area and began my postal career, first as a clerk, then letter carrier, and finally as a postmaster. Taking a position as Postmaster of Nashwauk on the Iron Range, I set my sights on the Grand Marais position, and when it opened up in 1998 I was fortunate to get the promotion. After twenty years in Cook County, I retired and my wife and I "moved south" to an inland lake a few miles northwest of Two Harbors. I became a Broker in 2021, and opened up my own business. With a lifetime of experience living in the Duluth area, the Iron Range, and the North Shore, I am excited to help my clients find their dream home in the northern woods!
