Nasra was born in Kenya to parents who immigrated from Ethiopia and Somalia. Her family then moved to the U.S. as refugees. Building a life in the U.S. is a proud accomplishment for her and her parents, who ran a successful Somali restaurant until 2020 and are now retired. Nasra is fueled by her desire to give her daughter an even better life than the amazing one that she herself is privileged to have.

Working in the healthcare finance industry, Nasra has seen first hand how not having the proper financial resources in place or even the knowledge to do so can be detrimental to a patient and their family. Because of what she has witnessed and experienced first hand, Nasra decided to pursue real estate. She wants to use what she has learned to educate her community on building wealth through land ownership and investing.

Nasras hobbies include weight lifting, networking, and checking out new Kansas City restaurants. Her biggest accomplishment, besides becoming a mother, is getting her health in control and losing 80lbs. Nasra speaks Somali as well as Swahili and can read and write in Arabic.
