Amy grew up in Springfield with parents who shaped her natural ability to relate to and care for people. Her father thrived as a sales manager before he moved to Texas to run an oil company. Her mother was a very successful real estate agent and small business owner in Springfield. Her grandfather, also a prominent, well-regarded business owner in Springfield, taught her the values of perseverance and hard work. As a young girl, people would tell Amy how much doing business with her family meant to them, and how much they loved her fathers positive spirit. Growing up in an environment of success, Amy saw first-hand how to relate to people in a manner that instills confidence and the desire to work together for a common goal.
As a young adult, Amy studied psychology and criminology before earning a masters degree in education. Amy taught for several years in Kansas City and worked in the special education department for Nixa Public Schools while her three children attended school in Nixa. After this season of her life, Amy was ready to pursue a career in which she could help people in a whole new way.
Returning to her deep roots in the Ozarks, she chose real estate, the perfect combination of talents she inherited from her family and her own strong desire to help people. A real estate transaction can be the largest purchase and one of the biggest decisions people make in life. Amys goal, each time she works with someone, is to make the transition an enjoyable and profitable experience.
