Knox County is famous for its rich agricultural heritage, particularly in corn and soybean production. Its fertile soil and suitable climate make it an ideal place for farming. One fun fact about Knox County is that it once had an event called the Knox County Corn Festival, which celebrated the county's agricultural accomplishments and heritage. This event featured a parade, live music, games, and of course, lots of corn-based food for attendees to enjoy.
