Fordland is a small village located in the south-central part of Missouri, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 800. The village is located in Webster County and lies along U.S. Route 60.
Fordland has a rich history, with the area originally being settled by European immigrants in the early 1800s. The village was named for James Ford, a prominent local businessman and landowner. Agriculture has long been the primary industry in the area, with many local residents engaged in farming and ranching.
