Joe has over 45 years of real estate experience in Laurel and Jones County, Mississippi. Joe grew up in Laurel and attened Laurel schools. He attended Jones County Junior College and graduated in 1970 from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing. After working in Jackson as a bookeeper, he joined his father Howard Johnson in the real estate business. In 1980 Joe started Howard Johnson Properties LLC. Joe is a licensed Real Estate Broker and a Certified General Appraiser. He has worked in all areas of real estate including residential, commercial, industrial, farm and timber land as well as subidvision lot sales. Joe is an active member of Highland Baptist Church in Laurel. He and his wife Jean love out door activities, fall football games ,traveling and working in their yard. They also enjoy sitting on the screen porch with their dog Charlie.
