My name is Shelly Horsley, born & raised in Butte, MT and I am an original small-town gal who loves spending time with family & friends. I am married to my high school sweetheart and have two beautiful children, one boy & one girl, Colt Anthony, and Brooks Nicole Horsley. Growing up with my husband I have learned that nothing comes easy and if you work hard enough for anything you can achieve it. My entire life I have always loved kids & enjoyed being around all ages. Soon after graduating high school, I worked in childcare for a few years, got pregnant with Colt and shortly after I opened my own daycare with one of my best friends. Together we were able to raise our children, create irreplaceable relationships with every family we were fortunate to have and learned valuable skills of being a business owner at such a young age. After being my own boss for 5 years I decided to go back to college at Montana Tech University of Montana and take time to really figure out what it is I wanted to do. Although I never graduated from college each course, I took I learned many valuable skills (again). At that point I realized college wasnt for me & I again followed my journey that I am supposed to be on trusting the process of knowing I will be placed where I need to be. I worked at Verizon for a couple of years where I learned (again) many valuable skills that I use every day. Still, I just didnt feel as if I belonged in that line of work which led me next into the banking industry. I LOVED working with the people and establishing trusting relationships with my customers. The satisfaction of being that go to person for problem solving, advice, or a simple day to day transaction made me realize how much I love working with the public, problem solving, and being that person who is there at the end of the day making sure things are done and taken care of, which has led me to where I am today. I needed a little more opportunity and challenge. I wanted to be my own boss again, set my own goals, and apply everything I have learned throughout my past career journey into something that was even more rewarding to my clients. My husband pushed me to get my license as a real estate agent and from there I reached out to my current Broker, Tracy who sold me our house a few years ago and told her I was considering this path, but I am unsure. She instantly pushed me to go for it and because of her guidance and motivation I am thriving and have never been happier in my career as I am today. I have been in real estate since 2020 and I have learned so much thus far & realized no matter how long anyone has been within this industry there will always be more to learn. I am an OCD person & striving for excellence is a top priority and perfection just comes naturally. I specialize in Residential/multi-family and beginning stages of investing in extensive training into commercial property.
