My top priority is CLIENT SATISFACTION. I provide extensive local real estate market data to both my Buyers and Sellers. As a result, my Sellers have a clear understanding of where their property fits into the current market, and how to best price and prepare it to be competitive for a quick sale at the highest possible price as demonstrated by that market data. Equally, Buyers better understand how properties they like compare to other properties. They become very aware of what to expect in certain price points and areas. This makes their search much easier and quicker. I started my real estate career in 2004 and in April, 2016, I opened Homes Of Wilkes to initiate a new concept of the real estate business, by incorporating traditional real estate with the latest in technology to best serve Wilkes County Buyers and Sellers. In 2010, I received the honor of being named the Wilkes County REALTOR of the Year, by my fellow local REALTORS. I served on the Wilkes County Association of REALTORS Board of Directors for several years and was President of the Association in 2011. I currently serve as Education Committee Chair and assist in the training of new REALTORS in Wilkes. In 2017, I was designated as a Real Estate Instructor for the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. I teach Pre and Post Licensing classes to prepare Agents for the day-to-day requirements of providing the utmost in service to their Buyers and Sellers. I have continued to seek additional training and education to best assist my Buyers and Sellers, and have acquired the following professional REALTOR Certifications and Designations:CRS - Certified Residential Specialist, the most advanced real estate training and market experience in the business. Less than 3% of all REALTORS nationwide hold this coveted designation. GRI - Graduate REALTOR Institute, a nationally recognized professional designation governed by the National Assoc. of REALTORS. On a national level, only 19% of all REALTORS hold this prestigious designation. ABR - Accredited Buyers Representative, the benchmark of excellence in Buyer Representation and is awarded by the Real Estate BUYER's AGENT Council (REBAC), an affiliate of the National Assoc. of REALTORS to real estate practitioners who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria. e-PRO - Electronic Real Estate Professional. As an e-PRO, I have demonstrated technical expertise as a result of additional education in that area, for conducting real estate business online. SFR - Short Sale/Foreclosure Resource is helpful in assisting clients through the Short Sale or Foreclosure process, whether they're Buyers or Sellers. SPS - Strategic Pricing Specialist. Listing a property at the best price range to sell is not just a price suggested by a CMA. It's a strategy of making it competitive with other comparable properties for sale in the neighborhood or comparable communities. Know WHEN, WHERE and HOW to place a property in today's market is crucial to getting it sold. SLS - Strategic Listing Specialist goes hand-in-hand with the Strategic Pricing Specialist in that it goes more in depth providing research for the Seller to clearly see where their property sits in the market in order to sell it either quickly or at the highest price possible. Prior to entering the real estate career, I was a professional musician and still am active in music as the Director of Music at a local church and member of Wilkes Chamber Singers. I have a degree in Music from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC and have done graduate work in Music at Appalachian and in Theater at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. I also did additional study in acting at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York, NY. After moving to Wilkes County, I taught music at Wilkes Community College, in Wilkes public schools and my private music studio. I was a charter member of Wilkes Playmakers where I've been involved both onstage and off.. I've found my "creative side" has been most helpful in the real estate business.
