Bill, a native of Montreat in Western North Carolina, joined the Blue Ridge Realty and Investments team in 2007 after graduating from Appalachian State University. He is a proud Eagle Scout and avid outdoors man. He is a member of the High Country Associations of Realtors and is licensed to sell Real Estate in both North Carolina and Tennessee.
Bill is well versed in the local real estate market for Avery, Watauga, and Ashe Counties. He specializes in foreclosed and Bank-Owned properties, residential, student rental investment housing, commercial real estate, building lots, developments, and large acreage tracts.
He has invested in apartments in the Boone area and been a property manager since 2004. He and fellow Blue Ridge Realty Broker, Todd Rice, own and operate Blue Ridge Professional Property Services and AR Mountain Rentals. These two companies offer a full range of property management services including home repair and maintenance, long-term student rentals, commercial rentals, and the coordination and preparation for selling REO Bank-Owned properties.
While still a student Bill started High Country Spa and Maintenance, a company that he continues to own and manage today. The company serves the High Country vacation rental market doing routine spa maintenance for individual home owners and many of the areas resort rental agencies.
From 2009-2011, he has served as the Resident Site Manager for Sunalei Preserve, a 1000 acre development on the Tennessee/North Carolina Line. As acting manager for Sunalei Preserve, Bill coordinated the grounds maintenance, oversaw property owner rentals for the Main Camp Lodge, and addressed individual property owners needs.
Bill is actively involved in many area service organizations including High Country Young Professionals, Boone Chamber of Commerce, Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce, and serves as treasurer of a local non-profit organization. He has served on the Boone Board of Adjustments, a committee of the local government officials that made decisions based on the interpretation of the town of Boones UDO.
In 2011, he earned The Green Designation recognized by the National Association of REALTORS. This designation helps Agents better serve environmentally conscience consumers by providing the knowledge and insights of what constitutes green building practices and how to do so in an economic manner.
He maintains his association with Appalachian State University as an active member of the Yosef Club and ASU Alumni Club. He is married to Sallie Brincefield Aceto, an aspiring graphic designer in the High Country. For fun and relaxation, he and Sallie enjoy hiking the miles of area trails and discovering waterfalls with their two dogs, Bosco and Harper.
