My family has deep roots in these mountains. I have many fond childhood memories of swimming at the base of waterfalls, running through fields of wildflowers, and camping under the stars.When it came time to select a college, I knew that I wanted to find a place that allowed me to continue doing the outdoor activities I love, while also enabling me to discover new interests. UNC Asheville was that rare combination! I graduated with a degree in business administration and worked for a time as a recruiter in the human resources department at the historic Omni Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa.I enjoy experiencing all Asheville has to offer. Whether it's hiking to a waterfall, trying a new restaurant/brewery, going to the farmers market, or visiting the studios in the River Arts District, Asheville has something for everyone! It has a local feel with the advantages of an urban city.When I'm not exploring the city, you can find me perfecting my own culinary creations, doing home improvement projects, crafting, gardening, and traveling. As a Chapel Hill native, it is no surprise that I am a diehard Carolina basketball fan. I live in north Asheville with my sweet red golden retriever, Archer!
