Marco's life journey has been a remarkable one, full of twists and turns that have led him to where he is today. Born and raised in Gales Ferry, Connecticut, he grew up with a father who worked as a Shipfitter Supervisor for General Dynamics. The family later moved to Ballston Spa, upstate New York, where Marco thrived in school and sports. However, the cold and snow eventually wore him down, and he longed for a change. That change came in the form of a move to Myrtle Beach in 2000. Here, Marco started working as a server at Planet Hollywood, where he discovered a talent for communication that would serve him well in the years to come. Despite the challenges of working in a busy tourist spot, he never faltered, handling all situations with ease. Eventually, he was promoted to a management position and continued to excel in his role. After Planet Hollywood, Marco took a position at Islamorada Fish Company, where he once again found success as a manager before eventually taking over running the kitchen. This experience was yet another opportunity for him to learn and grow. But after a few more years in the restaurant industry, Marco knew it was time for a change. He decided to take classes to obtain his real estate license, a daunting move into a commission-based job. However, he quickly discovered that helping people find and sell their dream homes was the most rewarding aspect of the job. He has had the privilege of assisting first-time buyers, retirees seeking warmer climates, and empty nesters looking to downsize. Today, Marco is an agent at RE/MAX Southern Shores, where he makes sure to stay up-to-date with the latest industry changes by taking regular classes. He is committed to providing the highest level of service to his clients, and his passion for helping people shines through in all that he does. Marco looks forward to continuing to meet and help even more people in the future.
