Prior to entering the field of real estate as a broker, Kim owned an insurance appraisal company specializing in high-value and historic homes across 11 East Coast states. She identified, researched, and evaluated construction methods and materials to establish replacement-cost-values for both existing and course-of-construction properties.
Kim also launched and ran a successful natural products brokerage for over 18 years, representing the highest quality brands. She became known for building strong lasting relationships with corporate and retail clients, and for providing outstanding service.
Kim refers to herself as a serial renovator often serving as General Contractor and has been a landlord for 10 years. This diverse experience has helped develop her keen eye for quality materials and workmanship and residential real estate and investment opportunities.
No detail is too small, and Kim works to make the process smooth and enjoyable. Her innate ability to make complex issues easy to understand helps her clients confidently make timely and effective decisions. Kims experience helps her advise clients when buying or selling one of their largest investments. She enjoys helping others in the real estate process from search through success!
Her educational background includes a BS degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Towson University, and completion of the Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Arts program from The George Washington University.
Kim enjoys all that the High Country has to offer especially hiking, restaurants, and time in nature with her dog.
