Hello, I'm Alan Shelor and I have been in the real estate business here on the Crystal Coast of Carteret County for the past 42 years. I opened my own office in Atlantic Beach in 1985 and specialize in all types of properties ranging from condos to commercial as well as homes, lots and acreage. With all the advanced types of communications that have developed over the past few years, I still believe that most buyers and sellers want to deal with a person, not a machine. Buying and selling creates a lot of anxiety within a person and I want to make the experiences as enjoyable as possible. A good deal is one in which everyone walks away from the closing happy. In addition to being a licensed Real Estate Broker, I am also a licensed NC Real Estate Residential Appraiser as well as a licensed General Contractor. I live on a deep-water canal here in Atlantic Beach. I am a boating and fishing enthusiast and spend as much time as work will allow fishing the beautiful waters of the Crystal Coast or enjoying family outings on the nearby barrier islands.
