Lorraine Silverman has lived in the Asheville area since 1993, though she's originally from Atlanta. The beauty of the mountains (and less traffic) lured her away! In Atlanta, she worked for AT&T for several years where she focused on serving business customers and developing professional relationships all over the Southeast. She received her MBA from Georgia State University in Atlanta, but her undergraduate degree and heart lie with the Bulldogs of the University of Georgia.
Since her arrival in Asheville, she taught at AB Tech Community College for 19 years and was awarded Outstanding Adjunct Instructor in 2003. Lorraine enjoys golf and was President of the Asheville area LPGA Amateurs Chapter for three years. She has spent time volunteering for the Asheville JCC, Dining Out for Life in support of the WNC Aids Project & Manna Food Bank. Lorraine has raised funds for and participated in the Alzheimer's Walk in Asheville as well. She loves spending time with her family, especially when taking time to travel and experience other cultures, and she can even get by with the amount of Spanish and Italian she knows!
After Lorraine's first year at Town and Mountain Realty, she earned Rookie of the Year, and now she's in her 15th year working in Western North Carolina real estate. She's consistently a multi-million dollar producer and belongs to Land of the Sky Board of Realtors. If you are looking to buy or sell, Lorraine is happy to work hard to get results you desire.
