I moved to the Outer Banks in 1989 from Ohio. I have two adult children and 3 beautiful granddaughters. Dr Misti Ford, Wilmington, NC. Matt 7 years US Army infantry 10th Mountain Fort Drum, NY, served 7 years and 3 deployments Afghanistan (2) and Iraq. Currently Engineer Major student at Ohio State University. I am VP of Blue Star Mothers; we meet once a month and send care packages to deployed troops. I am active in my church, lead for Operation Christmas Child annually. Giving back to the community is very important to me.
