Hello and Thanks for the opportunity to be of service in beautiful Western North Carolina! I have always lived in North Carolina and have lived all over of the state growing up in the Triad area and then attending college in the eastern part of the state at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and now in the mouth of the Great Smokey Mountains in a Sylva, NC. I moved to Asheville in 2003 for the sole purpose of selling Real Estate and to live in a place that captured my heart and soul as I have a true passion for the mountains as all my hobbies have always been centered around the outdoors ie: snow skiing, trout fishing (both fly and spin cast), camping, hiking and kayaking. With 4 moderate seasons and easy access to I-40, one can get to Asheville to enjoy the ecletic arts and culture as well as many micro-breweries, or visit the Blue Ridge Parkway and 7 other historic mountain towns to enjoy shoppping or learn a little history of each area, all with 20-40 minutes. Sylva and Cullowhee, NC is also the home of Western Carolina University and with the college population extends a wide variety of ages through out the area from young to old. These mountains possess an energy that let's you feel and breathe and get the most out of every day! Real Estate has ofcourse changed in the past 2 years more so than ever in the past decades going from the highest values ever to now a Buyer's market. My training started in on-site development which trained me to walk the property and truly understand the topography of these mountains, where a home may be built based on the customers needs for new construction and how you adapt with topography and get the most out of building your home. My experience now has evolved and has allowed me to work with both with Buyer's and Seller's to truly get what they require to experience the lifestyle and location they seek here in gorgeous Western North Carolina. Whether it be land, a home (new construction or a resale), I have the ability to help anyone get what they seek and the resources through a network of experienced specialist to help you once you have made a purchase. At Sundog Real Estate, we offer the ability to build custom new contruction, list and sell properties and also offer a rental program if you are a seasonal person. I specialize in resorts and vacation or 2nd homes, buy also focus on mountain views, lake and stream properties.
