Thomas has been engaged in the field of real estate since 1982. His knowledge of the Sothebys brand and the relationships formed within the Sothebys International Realty's global network have enabled him to assist customers and clients in locating and selling property the world over.
Thomas keen understanding of residential and resort properties have allowed him to have brokered some of the finest homes in the area. His engaging personality coupled with his commitment to integrity has allowed him to be listed among the top producing brokers in the region.
Thomas greatest strength is his uncanny knack for helping clients see that the right decisions made today will forge the right direction for future successes and that an exit strategy is an important consideration when first buying. His knowledge of the area, appraisal and land use have assisted his clients in making the right choices to achieve their real estate goals.
Thomas has completed courses for certified real estate appraiser, and is a certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialists. Thomas also serves as Chairman of the Zoning and Planning Commission in Lake Lure, is a member of the Board of Directors for the Hickory Nut Gorge Foundation, the Lake Lure Dragon Boat Racing and the Hickory Nut Gorge Chamber of Commerce. Thomas is President and Broker in Charge of Pinnacle Sothebys International Realty. He and wife Carole are the dynamic team of The McKay Group. Their focus includes some of the finest areas of lakefront properties in the region as well as Hendersonville and Asheville.
