I grew up in the mountains of Virginia where being outdoors was the way of life. I went to Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, I played Baseball and studied Liberal Arts. I continued to reside in that area after college, working in Fairfax, VA. Living in the valley gave me the opportunity to still enjoy the outdoors. Which is a great thing if you have ever driven around the D.C. area and ended up spending most of your time in the car stuck in traffic. While in the Northern Virginia area I work as a district manager before I found a love for remodeling homes. After several years working for others I went into business for myself. I relocated to SW Virginia to continue building and remolding homes and met my wife, Stacy.
Coming to the Outer Banks on Vacation was a family tradition as it is with many. Realizing we are spending as much time on the Outer Banks as we were in the mountains we decided to move. Upon arrival, I made a smooth transition by working for one of the premier builders on the Outer Banks. Building here is unlike any other, with unpredictable weather, salt air, and desire for the best in coastal living the building standards are high. Through the relationships formed in the rental, service, and design industries the transition to realtor was easy.
