As a lifelong native of North Carolina, my mountain experience took off at a young age. My family bought a piece of land on a trout stream in Ashe County when I was 5, and the rest is history. After spending summers as a child at our little cabin on the creek, I was hooked. Following graduation from UNC-Charlotte in 2000 with a business degree, I moved to the High Country full time to take a job with a national food service company as a regional account manager.
Not long after moving, I met my wife, Crystal Taylor Brooks. We were married in 2003, and had our first child, David in 2006, and our daughter Taylor in 2016. I've been a Real Estate Broker since 2005, and I am also a certified residential appraiser. I currently live in Eastern Watauga County, and am active in real estate throughout the High Country. I work with buyers as well as assist sellers in listing and marketing their properties for sale. I love working with vacant land tracts as well.
When not working, I still enjoy hunting and fishing, as well as anything involving snow. My family and I are active in our home church, and I spend lots of my "free time" coaching my son and his friends in football and basketball seasons in our church's recreation ministry. I look forward to helping you with your real estate service needs in the High Country!
