Buying and selling any sort of property is an big deal but buying or selling land is beyond next level. Hi, Im Koby Rickertsen and my history has its roots in farmland having been brought up on the family farm in Lincoln and Dawson Counties in Nebraska. My first college class was an agronomy class my dad took my brother, 2 cousins and I to when none of us were quite 10 years old. He used us as field scouts for several years after the class so I was an "agronomist" before that was cool and I was paid 1.00 per hr. for all the hard work. After High School graduation not sure of a direction for my life, I chose to serve our country for 13 years with the US Navy Submarine Force; met my beautiful wife, and then brought her back home to re-establish roots in Nebraska, where we raised our two kids. My professional background has never strayed far from Agriculture, which is what led my wife and I to start RE/MAX Home, Farm & Ranch. As a producer, investor and property owner I felt we could provide a better buyer or seller experience when it came to real estate. Though it has taken me 40 years to decide what I wanted to be when I grew up, I love the land and look forward to serving landowners with their most valuable asset on earth.
