Wendy Kreis is the Owning Broker for Rooted Realty Group and has over 15 years of Property Management and Real Estate experience in the Kearney Area. Though her background is diverse it has always been sales based. Wendy was originally born and raised in the Mid-West, lived in California for 22 years and moved to Kearney in 2004.

After moving to Kearney, Wendys Real Estate career took off working for a local developer and establishing their property management company. Wendy joined the Coldwell Banker team in 2009 to head up their division of Kearney Rental Pros, growing the division in two short years into a million dollar a year company. In 2011 Wendy purchased Kearney Rental Pros and made it a standalone Brokerage called Vertical Focus Realty. In January of 2023 Wendy sold Kearney Rental Pros to continue her focus on the listing and buying of Real Estate for her clients. Rooted Realty Group has been the goal for many hears, Locally owned and operated, Technology driven with great tools for the Realtor Team and Clients, and complete focus on the buying and selling process.

Wendys passion is helping people make their dreams come true, whether this a new home, a first home, or a location to launch your own business. She loves helping people build the wonderful Kearney community and business environment.

In recent years Wendy's family has grown from 3 kids and her husband to include one daughter in law, a son in law, a grandson, and her dog Beau. She spends her free time with her family, reading, and boating on the lake.

Wendy specializes in commercial, residential and leasing and rentals transactions.
