She began her first company on the steps of the U.S. Capitol as a street photographer using a Polaroid camera. After mentoring with Ansel Adams, she launched a new company with an office in the Watergate. There, she created advertising campaigns and strategic marketing for global companies such as Marriott Resorts, Grey Advertising, EDS, Polaroid and Hill & Knowlton, to name a few. Then she took a risk. In 1994, she relocated to Santa Fe after living in a restored 1870s Victorian home on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., for a quarter of a century.
