Enterprise is an unincorporated community that is located in the southern part of Clark County, Nevada. It is a suburb of Las Vegas and part of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area. The community is mainly residential, with relatively low population density, consisting of single-family homes, townhouses, and apartments around a commercial center.
As for a historical event that took place in the area, in 1907, the San Pedro, Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad was completed, which ran through the southern part of Clark County, including Enterprise. This provided an important transportation link between Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. The railroad was later renamed the Union Pacific Railroad, and it continues to operate today, providing freight and passenger service throughout the region.
