Matt Carter was raised in Coleville, California just 30 miles south of Gardnerville where he would travel to the Carson Valley as a child to participate in the sports, music, and all of the finer things the Big City had to offer. After graduating high school he earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Whittier where he played baseball and football. After working for a Fortune 500 and in the master planned community side of real estate in Southern California he quickly realized that home was where his heart was. Matt moved back to the area in 2006 and began his real estate career. Matt met his wife Gina while attending a birthday party in Gardnerville. Soon after, they married and started a family. They have two children, Justus who is 4 and Gemma who is 2. When Matt is away from the office he can be found with his wife and children at the childrens classes, enjoying the lake, at the golf course, or at the river fishing. Matt and his family attend church every Sunday and try to devote Sunday afternoons to visiting extended family and friends.
