Dan is a professional forester and natural resource manager graduating from the SUNY ESF in 1983 with a bachelors degree in forestry and resource management. For 27 years, Dan worked closely with forest landowners either as a forestry consultant or procurement forester. He believed there was another niche to be filled in his backyard that inspired him to obtain his real estate sales license in 2010 and associate broker license in 2016. As a lifelong resident of upstate NY, Dan has an appreciation for the great diversity of outdoor recreational opportunities that exist here. As outdoor enthusiasts, Dan and his wife Carol love to explore their Adirondack back yard. In addition, Carol and Dan own and manage Forest Pond Cottage, a vacation rental with pond, on 110 wooded acres in the Adirondack State Park. Often, relationships that develop through the rental result in real estate inquiries. Dan looks forward to meeting people from all walks of life that both businesses bring to this region. He finds great satisfaction in sharing his knowledge and experiences with those yearning to acquire a special place of their own, or assisting those ready to pass on their property to someone new.
