Being an avid outdoorsman, it brought me great joy to return to the mountains of Eastern Rensselaer County in the spring of 2002. Having just retired from 30 years of project engineering management I bring both residential and commercial expertise to the Valerie Sutton agency.
After 7 years of Real Estate sales in the hills of Connecticut, my wife and I enjoy helping the people of Rensselaer, Columbia & Washington counties find their dream place in our beautiful surroundings.
As a firm believer in sharing the blessings given to me I have also been active as council president for the Lutheran congregation where we worship. Also as a Connecticut State Hunter Safety Instructor, it has been fulfilling to pass along my love of the outdoors and its creatures to several hundred students over the last eight years. I look forward to doing the same in my native state of New York
Having now lived in Berlin for three years and being a part of the community, I look forward to serving on the Planning & Zoning Board. Other hobbies that keep me occupied is starting a Christmas Tree Farm (Mountain Meadow Farm) - Come see us in about 8 years! And enjoying my horse.
