Katie grew up in Bedford. When she and her husband moved out from New York City in 1993, there was no question where they wanted to settle and raise their family. Prior to entering real estate, Katie worked in the advertising business in New York City. Her professional years in Manhattan provided her with the invaluable tools of negotiating and marketing. She is extremely organized and thoughtful, providing her clients with unparalleled dedication and knowledge of the Bedford area. She learned from her mother-in-law, a Bedford agent for more than 20 years, that being a good listener is crucial. She is very dedicated to her clients and will always go the extra mile to close a deal. Her sales success is directly tied to her work ethic and friendly disposition.

She attended Choate Rosemary Hall for high school and was her class agent. Following Choate, she attended Franklin and Marshall College. She is a past Vice President of the Bedford Elementary Parents Association and past 7/8th grade class representative at the Rippowam Cisqua School. She also sat on the Rippowam Cisqua Alumni Board and has been an active volunteer for The Bedford Historical Society, Bedford Golf and Tennis Club Junior Program, Rusticus Garden Club and St. Matthew's Church. During her free time, she enjoys cooking/entertaining, driving seniors, photography, paddle tennis and loved playing squash with her children when they were young.
