A little about meI was born and raised in the Southern Tier and grew up during the 70s and 80s on the South Side of Owego. After graduating from Owego Free Academy in 1986, I attended the Universities at Binghamton and Albany and received a Master's Degree in Social Work from the Rockefeller Institute of Public Affairs & Policy in Albany, NY in 1992.
Everything came full circle when I returned to the Southern Tier in 2006. Since 1995 I had been a self-employed Antiques Dealer and Auctioneer. Of course I brought those skills with me. In 2008 a friend of mine suggested that I put down the heavy furniture and consider studying for my Real Estate Salesperson License. I became licensed in May of 2009.
Having purchased my first of several pieces of real estate (a two family house) when I was 21, I am absolutely comfortable with the process as well as the emotion of buying and selling. I help both my buyers and sellers keep their eye on the ball that says "Business Transaction".
Since 2009 I have enjoyed helping longtime friends, old neighbors, previous auction customers as well as strangers with their real estate transactions in Tioga, Broome and Chemung Counties. In May, 2015 I opened my independent brokerage office.
