I am an Associate Broker and Manager of the Margaretville office of KW Upstate NY Properties and have been an active broker in the Catskills area for the last 20 years. Originally from New York City, I moved full-time to the Catskills in 1990 after enjoying my weekend home in Andes for 10 years--and left my first career in graphic design, for my second career, and a life in the mountains that I have come to love, and call home. I attended college in Illinois at Lake Forest College, majoring in Art History,but later transferred to the School of Visual Arts in New York City where I became interested in a career in commercial art and graphic design. I have always been an avid outdoor enthusiast, which stems from my summers camping, hiking, mountain climbing and canoeing in the high peaks area of the Adirondacks, so, I began to look for a convenient weekend wilderness retreat closer to New York City. After extensive research, I chose the Margaretville/Andes area for my weekend escapes--and the rest is history. I have been active on the board of the Central Catskills Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Catskill Center for Conservation and Development and still enjoy hiking, biking and kayaking in the Catskills. Living and working here full-time as I do, I am very committed to the ideals of conservation, but I also understand the need to balance that goal with environmentally friendly economic development in order to preserve a truly sustainable, healthy and viable community. All of these interests and insights into the area are expertise I bring to the table when representing my clients.
