Born and raised in Munich, Germany, Susanne came to New York City in 1998. After working in book publishing and finance for a couple of years, she decided to follow her dream of becoming a real estate agent specializing in Manhattan and Queens. After earning the Douglas Elliman Rookie of the Year Award in her first year in Real Estate, Susanne has since been a consistent award winner, culminating with the coveted Chairman Circle Diamond Award for her production in 2014 and 2015. As the co-founder of the Gutermuth Copersino Team, she received the Top 3 Team Award in Sales and Transactions amongst 2000 agents of Douglas Elliman's Queens, Long Island and Hamptons Division, and is the # 1 Team in Queens. Susanne is constantly striving to improve her skills and knowledge about the changing real estate market, which helps her achieve the highest prices on the properties she lists, as well as negotiate very aggressively for her buyers. Being a Gymnast and Pianist helped her sharpen her competitive skills, and her experience growing up in Germany is that excellence comes from discipline, hard work and a deep passion for what you do. Susanne is also the co-founder of a companywide Mastermind Group. This helps her connect buyers and sellers to all the different markets they need help with, as she networks with and knows agents on a national and international level. In her free time, Susanne enjoys reading both fiction and non-fiction, travelling to exotic locations, and eating her way through the amazing restaurants in New York. She is also learning to surf, and is an avid skier and snowboarder.
