I was born in a small town, about one hundred miles south of Beijing. I came to USA for graduate study in 2003 and got my Master of Science degree at University of Connecticut and my PhD at University of Hawaii. My family is now living in Malta, NY. My hobbies are gardening, fishing, hiking, diving, reading and Tai Chi.
