Plattsburgh is a small city located in the northeastern part of New York state, near the Canadian border on the western shore of Lake Champlain. It is known for its historic downtown and waterfront areas, as well as its proximity to outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, skiing, and boating. The city is home to several institutions of higher learning, including SUNY Plattsburgh and Clinton Community College.
