Rotterdam is a town located in Schenectady County in the state of New York, United States. It lies in the Mohawk Valley region, just west of the city of Schenectady. As of the 2010 census, the population of the town was 29,094. The town is known for its diverse neighborhoods, scenic parks, and strong sense of community.
