Originally from Pittsburgh, Krystin moved to Central Ohio in 2001. In 2006 Krystin joined her husband Tony, a life-long Columbus resident, at Coldwell Banker King Thompson to form The Macaluso Team. In August 2017 Tony became the Branch Manager of the Northwest Regional Office. Tony is now coaching and mentoring other real estate professionals and bringing his experience, real estate knowledge, and industry leadership to Coldwell Banker King Thompson's management team.
Krystin continues to assist Buyers and Sellers through the home buying process by providing personal and responsive client service, custom marketing strategies and the highest ethical standards her clients have come to expect. Whether you are a first-time buyer, a step-up buyer or seller, are downsizing, relocating or investing, Krystin will be there from start to close to provide you with a seamless real estate experience.
Krystin is currently PTO Treasurer for Tremont Elementary and the Social Media Chair for the Jones Middle School PTO. She was the 2018-19 Tremont Elementary PTO President. She also serves as the Area Director for Upper Arlington's chapter of Neighborhood Bridges. She has also been involved with Kitchen Kapers for Riverside Methodist Hospital, Pleasure Guild for Nationwide Children's Hospital, and is an active member of St. Agatha Parish. In addition to volunteering, Krystin enjoys entertaining family and friends, traveling, tennis and golf. Krystin and Tony live in Upper Arlington with their sons, Brayden and Luke, and can be found cheering them on at the football or baseball field.
Krystin's mission is to consistently provide exceptional service to her clients while making each real estate transaction an enjoyable experience. She prides herself with a high level of communication, organization and attention to detail. She assists Sellers by making the sale of their home as stress-free as possible. Each home she lists is treated as if it were her family's. She works with Sellers on staging and preparing their home for the market, as well as educating them on their local market to establish a price that will allow the home to sell for the most amount of money in a short amount of time. Krystin provides a full-service marketing plan with a high level of internet presence and a timeline so they are aware of what will happen and when. She offers recommendations for moving companies and trade workers through Coldwell Banker's concierge service and personal contacts, and if they are moving outside of the area she can also provide relocation services. When working with Buyers Krystin will take the time to learn their wants and needs to ensure they find the home of their dreams. She works closely with their lender, home inspector, and the title company throughout the process to make the transaction as smooth as possible from start to finish. Krystin's service never ends at the closing table. She is always there to answer questions or help find a solution to any concerns that may occur in the future.
Krystin graduated from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio with a degree in Organizational Communication with a Business minor. Krystin has completed the Certified Negotiation Specialist (CNS) and Smart Home Technology training through Coldwell Banker.
