Swanton is a small town located in northwestern Ohio, in Fulton County. It has a population of around 3,800 people and covers an area of 3.85 square miles. The town was founded in the early 19th century and was initially known as "Swanton Village". Swanton is known for being the primary location for the Fulton County Fair, which is the oldest county fair in Ohio, dating back to 1859.
