Gary Caplinger is a native to Oklahoma City, attending Piedmont Schools and the University of Oklahoma, where he completed his BS & MS in Mechanical Engineering. He worked in the semiconductor industry in the Dallas Metroplex for about 7 yrs, where he met his spectacular wife & best friend, Kathy. Gary has also worked with local OKC and international (Romania, the Himalayas, Myanmar, Congo, etc) groups seeking justice and compassion for the poor and the forgotten.
The Caplingers have two amazing children, Caleb and Claire Caplinger, who have brought tremendous life, energy and craziness to their family. They are also totally in love with the great city of OKC and its wealth creative and caring people.
As a real estate consultant and sales specialist, Gary has sought to be a different face to a much maligned industry. Garys desire is to be a wise & trusted resource and consultant, who has the knowledge, passion and persistence to guide his clients through the home buying and selling process.
Gary focuses much of his efforts on homes and property in the Urban Living Core of Oklahoma City. He is very knowledgeable on the diverse historic neighborhoods (like Mesta Park, Crown Heights, Heritage Hills, Edgemere Park, Putnam Heights, Gatewood, Cleveland, Linwood Place, Shepherd, Paseo & Venice Neighborhoods) as well as the exploding Downtown OKC Living Sector.
He is also developing more tools and connections with the GREEN and energy efficient home movement, which is just taking off in this city. Gary is a vital member of OKCMARs Green Resource Council, who has spearheaded the addition of green features to allow home sellers to better market their homes on the OKC MLS and home buyers to search for green and energy efficient features that they desire. Most of all, Gary dove into the world of real estate to build long-term relationships with his clients and to be a lifelong resource to them.
