I first visited Bend almost 40 years ago during a family vacation to Black Butte Ranch and a trip to town for dinner at the Pine Tavern. The difference between Bend and my hometown, Gig Harbor, Washington, was striking. After that trip, living in a mountain town stuck in my head. A few years later, I moved to Sun Valley, Idaho, for one winter of skiing that turned into a 20+ year stay. My first career was operating my commercial fishing vessel in Washington State, Alaska, San Francisco Bay, and the Great Salt Lake, Utah. Working away from home for more than eight months of the year lost its luster. I then embarked on a career as an insurance agent before transitioning to real estate in 2004, before another transition to a pension consulting firm in the Bay Area. In 2016 I moved to Central Oregon and, in 2019, obtained my Oregon real estate license.

Central Oregon offers a wide variety of outdoor activities, from skiing to mountain biking hiking, and golf to name a few. After years of exploring our communities, I enjoy working with new residents or long-time locals, finding their perfect spot to call home. In this era, without technology, buying or selling can be challenging.
