Before moving to Sisters in 2010, Carol taught for many years at Oregon Episcopal School and served as a public school administrator in Portland. After 29 years in the city and raising their wonderful daughters, she and her late-husband Chuck looked toward the next phase of their lives. Since Carol was originally from a rural ranch in Elkton, OR, and Chuck grew up in Prineville, they enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to return to their rural roots.
Carol is invested in the local Sisters community; she has served on the Board of Directors for Circle of Friends, volunteered for Sisters Outdoor Quilt and Sisters Garden Club. Her husband Chuck served as President for Habitat for Humanity and worked the chutes for the Sisters Rodeo each year.
