Real estate has been my career for quite awhile now. Licensed in 1993, I got my GRI and broker's classes over early, added Diversity, Buyer Agency and Residential Specialty along the way and more recently SRES, GREEN, ePro, PSA, C2EX. This, on top of my degrees in Education and Philosophy, and a long and varied work life, allow me to talk with and relate to most folks. In 2021 I left the old corporate structure to find more creativity and support at Iron Valley Real Estate.
I taught Sp. Ed and college Philosophy classes, worked in garment, metalworking and home building industries.
I have been a dog trainer for over 50 years
and they taught me more about body language than any seminar. I hang with our Afghan Hounds, play with the Lurchers, hike, birdwatch, sing (I hush on command), read Sci fi, science, history and anything written by James Lee Burke, Lee Childs, John Sanford, Kathy Reichs, Greg Illes, or Kim Stanley Robinson
I volunteer with the Columbia/Montour Animal Response Team, activated by county EMA for disasters and emergencies. I have volunteered with Girl Scouts, Laubach Literacy Program and help support our local libraries. Conservation/ecological matters are of concern to me--our land is our inheritance and our legacy.
