I helped my first customers buy a property in 1981. All these years later I can honestly say that experience has been my best teacher. I have seen people through job losses, promotions, transfers, divorces, new babies, empty nest syndrome and the settlement of parent's estates. Being involved in so many transactions has provided me the competence and knowledge to navigate my buyers and sellers smoothly through any potential real estate situation. I understand the emotions involved and I believe I offer empathy, patience, excellent problem solving skills and a positive outlook to the clients I represent.The real estate industry is constantly changing. When I began in 1981 contracts had one piece of paper and we signed the contracts on the hood of the car. The handshake even meant something back then! Times have changed. To change with the times I devote time yearly to learning the latest trends and technologies.I travel to seminars throughout the country to learn from the finest instructors. I have also earned the Accredited Buyer Representative, ABR designation, and the Certified Residential Specialist, CRS designation. These designations are held by a very small percentage of Realtors and represent both the knowledge and experience required to represent both buyers and sellers well.
