Clay R. Mitman has been a member of the sales department of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Paul Ford, REALTORS since 1983, becoming an Associate Broker in 1986, Assistant Sales Manager in 1989, Vice President in 1991, and President in 1993.

He is a graduate of Susquehanna University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He is a past President of the Lehigh Valley Association of Realtors, a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, and a member of the National Association of Realtors. He has served as Chairman of the Eastern Northampton County Association of Realtors Grievance Committee (1989) and Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee (1991). He is a Past President (1992-1993) and Director of the Eastern Northampton County Multiple Listing Service. He has obtained several real estate designations and awards, including being a Graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI), a Certified Relocation Specialist (CRP), and a Certified Residential Broker (CRB). On the state level, he has received the select PAR Excellence Award. He has also received national recognition through the company's franchise affiliations with The Prudential Real Estate Affiliates and has been a member of the Presidents Circle since 1990 and the Chairman's Circle since 1994.
Clay is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Two Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce, a board member and a past treasurer of Historic Easton, Inc. (a local preservation organization), a past board member of Easton House Tavern and Heritage Alliance, a member and current President of the Board of the State Theatre. He is a representative on the recently created Easton Historic District Commission.
He is a lifetime resident of the City of Easton, and resides on College Hill with his wife Elizabeth, daughters Katie and Amy and sons Clay II and Christopher.
