Gordon is a small borough located in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is situated in a valley in northeast Pennsylvania and has a population of around 700 people.

The village was originally named "Williamsport" after one of its earliest settlers, but later it was renamed to Gordon after a prominent businessman named Benjamin Gordon.

Gordon played an important role in the coal mining industry during the late 19th century and early 20th century. The village had several coal mines, and the coal mined here was used to produce steel and power the locomotives that transported goods across the country.

Today, the village of Gordon has evolved into a quiet community that offers a peaceful environment. It has a few small businesses, such as a general store, a gas station, and a post office. It is also home to the Gordon Nagle Trail, a scenic 9-mile trail that runs along the Schuylkill River and is popular among walkers, joggers, and cyclists.
