Mohnton is a small borough located in Berks County, Pennsylvania. It is about 8 miles southwest of Reading and has a population of approximately 3,000 residents. Mohnton was founded in 1900 and became a borough in 1907. The area was historically known for its iron and steel production, and many of the original settlers were German immigrants. Some notable landmarks in Mohnton include the historic Mohnton Fish and Game Association Lodge, the Governor Mifflin School District campus, and the scenic Angora Fruit Farm.
