Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania is a borough located in Blair County, in the central part of the state. The town was established in 1768 and was later named after Adam Holliday, a local tavern owner. It is known for its historic downtown district, which features a number of 19th-century buildings and homes. Hollidaysburg is also home to the Blair County Courthouse, which dates back to the 1860s and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, the town is a popular destination for visitors who enjoy exploring its historic sites, shopping and dining options, and outdoor recreation opportunities, such as hiking and camping in nearby state parks.
