Washington Boro is a small village located along the western banks of the Susquehanna River. It has a population of just over 700 people and is known for its historic significance. During the Civil War, Washington Boro was an important transportation hub for Union troops and supplies. Today, it is a popular spot for fishing and other outdoor recreational activities, and it is home to several parks and nature preserves. The village also has a small business district, with a few restaurants and shops.
