New Florence is a small borough in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, with a population of around 677 people. The borough is located along the scenic Conemaugh River, and it has a rich history dating back to the early 1800s. The town was originally named Fairfield, but was renamed to New Florence after the town's founder, James McClelland, saw a painting of Florence, Italy.

New Florence is largely a residential area, with some small businesses and restaurants located within the borough. The town has a strong sense of community, and there are several annual events held in the area, such as the New Florence Community Days celebration.
