McSherrystown is a small borough located in Adams County, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1741 and is named after Patrick McSherrystown, an early settler in the area. The town is home to several historic buildings and landmarks, including the McSherrystown Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The town also hosts several annual events, including a St. Patrick's Day Parade and a Memorial Day Parade.
