East Freedom is a small village located in Blair County, Pennsylvania. It is situated in the southern part of the county and has a population of only a few hundred residents. The village was founded in the mid-1800s and was initially known as Freedom Forge. It was an important center for the iron industry in the area and had several iron furnaces and forges. Today, East Freedom is a quiet, residential community with a few small businesses and services. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is known for its scenic vistas and outdoor recreation opportunities.
